ok, ganz schön viel MINT in meinen aktuellen und zukünftigen DIY-projekten gerade… in einer regenpause mussten heute so einige gegenstände ihren original-farbton gegen ein pfefferminzgrünes outfit tauschen. so leuchtet mein NEON-LAMPENSHIRM ab sofort nicht mehr “von allein”, sondern braucht nun ein schuckeliges retro-leuchtmittel, dass hoffentlich bald hier eintrifft. und vielleicht erinnert ihr euch ja auch noch an die BEHÄKELTE SCHREIBTISCHLAMPE in orange? auch für sie sind die knalligen zeiten erst einmal vorbei! ein hübsch häßliches 50-cent-keramik-eichhörchen vom flohmarkt musste auch dran glauben und ist jetzt nur noch hübsch [ja, ich weiß, da scheiden sich vermutlich weiterhin die geister…]. muss sich ja auch irgendwie lohnen, der kauf so einer pulle sprühfarbe, nech?
ok, there’s a lot of MINT in my current DIY projects… during a rain pause i spray-painted some stuff today to cover it’s original colors with a peppermint breeze. so my NEON lampshade is no longer glowing “all alone”.
i ordered a fancy retro bulb for it and hope it will arrive soon. and maybe you remember the YARNBOMBED DESK LAMP in orange? the bold colored times for this cutie also ended today! a pretty ugly 50-cent-pottery-squirrel from the flea market turned to just preety, too [yes, i know, opinions might still differ in this case…]. but buying a can of spray paint has to pay off somehow, right?
ein bisschen mint darf im nächsten nähprojekt natürlich auch nicht fehlen. dafür habe ich heute schon mal ein paar stoffe zusammengestellt. was daraus wird, kann ich allerdings noch nicht verraten… es wird nämlich ein geschenk.
there’s also a little mint color in the fabrics i gathered together for my next sewing project. i can’t tell you what’s i’m whipping up, yet… as it’s going to be a gift.
hach… und diese farben lächeln mich auch so richtig an! mit dem pastelligen baumwollgarn sollen ein paar häßliche kabel behäkelt werden. das habe ich noch nie versucht. ich hoffe, es wird, wie ich mir das vorstelle.soweit meine momentanen selbstmach-projekte im januar. die ergebnisse zeige ich euch natürlich, sobald sie herzeigbar sind. ich hoffe, ich trödele nicht so lange…
was habt ihr so auf dem plan?
sigh… these colors are just smiling at me! i got the pastel yarn to cover some ugly electric cables with some chrocheting. i never did that before, i hope it will work out as i imagine it. that’s it for my crafty january projects so far. i will keep you updated about the results of course, as soon i’ve got something to show. i hope i won’t be dilly-dally…
