ich habe seit langem mal wieder genäht… denn die nächste städtereise kommt bestimmt und mein kleiner laden konnte auch dringend mal wieder ein update mit frischen designs vertragen.

letzte woche hatte ich euch ja meinen tascheninhalt ausgebreitet. dabei habe ich ganz vergessen, zu erwähnen, das mein kleiner kamera-klöterkram auch immer noch in einem selbstgemachten reißverschlußtäschchen verstaut ist. das hatte ich auf der frankreich-reise nämlich zu hause vergessen.
remember, i let you peep into my hand bag last week? i forgot to mention that i usually have another little handmade zipper pouch with me to put my small camera equipment in. unfortunately i left it at home, when i went on my trip to france.

heute mal kein langes posting sondern nur ein zwergenkleines SHOPupdate. der frühling steht hoffentlich bald vor der tür und der ZWERGENLIEBE stempel steht ab heute im regal meines kleinen lädchens. schließlich wird die gartensaison bald eröffnet, hoffentlich sehr bald… ! 
even gnomes have spring fever | no long posting today but just a dwarf-short SHOPupdate. spring hopefully peeps around the corner and GNOME LOVE [ = zwergenliebe ] is in the air and in the shelves of my little store. let the green gardening season begin soon , please… !

ab und zu bekomme ich so etwas wie fanpost. fanpost hört sich schon ziemlich komisch an, aber das ist es wohl. die kommt von menschen, die ich gar nicht persönlich kenne, die sich aber hinsetzen und sich die zeit nehmen, mir nette sachen zu schreiben. jedes mal bin ich wieder verblüfft. fanpost zu bekommen fühlt sich irgendwie seltsam und gleichzeitig sautoll an! whoo-hoo!
once in a while i get fan mails. fan mail, that word still sounds quite weird to me, but i guess, that’s what it is. it is sent by people who i don’t know personally, but who take their time to sit down and write very kind words to me. every time i get one one of these mails i am perplexed. fan mail… that still feels odd and damn good at the same time! whoo-hoo!

neulich bekam ich eine mail von CARO, die mich ziemlich geplättet hat. sie schickte mir nämlich fotos von sich und ihrem neuen tattoo, die ich euch mit ihrer erlaubnis zeigen möchte! offensichtlich liebt sie meine FLORAFOX so sehr, dass sie sie für den rest ihres lebens mit sich herumtragen möchte. ganz ehrlich, das macht mich ziemlich sprachlos [was schon was heißen will!]… und ein bisschen verlegen… und auch faziniert und irgendwie stolz und geehrt. schon wieder alle möglichen gefühle auf einmal. CARO, ich kann es immer noch nicht glauben, dass du dir ein design von mir hast in die haut stechen lassen…. wow.
i got some mail from CARO the other day and it was just stunning. well, she sent me some pictures of herself and her brandnew tattoo… and, with her permission to do so, i love to share them with you! obviously she loves my little FLORAFOX so much that she decided to wear it for the rest of her life! honestly, this really leaves me speechless… and kinda blushed… also fascinated and proud and humbled. a whole lot of feelings at the same time. CARO, i still can’t believe, you had one of my designs inked into your skin… wow.

dass FLORAFOX von vielen ganz schön doll geliebt wird, höre ich immer wieder. oft werde ich gefragt, ob ich nicht noch irgendwo geheime vorräte des stoffes hätte, die ich abgeben könnte. es tut mir leid, leute…. ich habe nur noch meinen eigenen kleinen vorrat und den hüte ich so ziemlich, um ihn irgendwann einmal an meine enkel zu vererben, oder so. 
aber eine kleinigkeit habe ich für euch doch. nein, keinen stoff, aber die kleine fuchsdame gibt es ab sofort als POSTKARTE in meinem lädchen. weil post verschicken bekommen einfach immer toll ist! 
i frequently hear and read that many of you love FLORAFOX a lot. i’m aked if i got some secret reserve of the fabric to share. i’m sorry folks, but i only got my personal supply, which isn’t really a lot… and i keep it as a treasure myself. maybe to inherit it to my grandchildren some day or, who knows. 
but i got something new to share. the little fox lady is now available as POSTCARDS at my shop. because sending and getting mail is always lovely, isn’t it?

es gibt endlich neue LOVEchirps zum aufbügeln im LÄDCHEN… dieses mal nicht mit glitzerigen STRASSsteinchen, sondern mit coolen, metallisch glänzenden NAILHEADS. perfekt, um ganz fix ein lieblingsshirt für den sommerurlaub zu pimpen… 
i just listed brandnew LOVEchirps to iron-on in my little SHOP… no rhinestones this time, but cool NAILHEADS with a metallic shine. just perfect for a quick upgrading of a favorite summer holiday tee…

passend zum heutigen wetter, dass sich selbst in norddeutschland anfühlte, als wäre man in andalusien… 
today it felt like being in andalusia right here in northern germany. matching the temperatures of the day…

… ist gerade diese spritzige handtaschen- und reisebegleiterin ins LÄDCHEN eingezogen. das wartete hier schon eine weile auf die richtige stimmung.
und draußen fühlt es sich wirklich schon wie sommer an… ist das nicht toll? trotz zahnarzttermin und pauken für die letzten arbeiten in der schule vor den sommerferien, haben wir den tag so genossen. ich hoffe, ihr auch.

it really feels like summer now… isn’t that great? we enjoyed the sunny day despite dentist appointments and swotting for the last school test before the big summer holidays. i hope you had a great day, too.

die vögel zwitschern..

the birds are chirping…
die sonne scheint, euch gefällt der neue CHIRP ORNAMENTS stoff offensichtlich… was kann ich da noch mehr wollen? ich freu mich einfach. 
ab heute ist das stöffchen zu haben, die HÄNDLER konnten schon zuschlagen und so wird es hoffentlich schnellstmöglich beim händler eures vertrauens zu haben sein. ich wünsche euch ganz viel spaß beim vernähen und bin gespannt, was ihr daraus so zaubert!

the fabric is available as of today and the RETAILERS already picked it! so it won’t take long until it will be available for everyone at the shops of the retailer of your confidence. enjoy sewing it up! i’m curious to see what you’re going to whip up! 

der blusenschnitt den luzie hier trägt ist übrigens UNELLA BLOMMA. die LOVEchirp stickerei auf der tasche ist der aus der PIMPIcuff-serie, der hatte die perfekte größe! … und weil bestimmt einige fragen werden… den bezaubernden papierschirm haben wir aus californien mitgebracht. der war ein liebes geschenk von NANCY, als wir sie und ihre familie im letzten sommer besucht haben. er erinnert uns immer an eine wunderbare zeit! xoxo! :)

the sewing pattern for this blouse is UNELLA BLOMMA. i used the LOVEchirp embroidery from the PIMPIcuff-set because the size matched perfectly! … and just because some of you probably will like to know… we brought this adorable paper umbrella back home from our california trip last summer. it was a lovely gift from NANCY when we visited her and her family last summer. it always reminds us of such good times! xoxo! :)

einige ganz besonders scharfe adleraugen haben ihn bereits auf einem poster am messestand von FARBENMIX erspäht… und die passionierten näh-ornithologen unter euch hatten ja immer mal wieder nachgefragt, ob wir es nicht nochmal neu auflegen könnten, das LOVECHIRP-stöffchen von damals. es hat ein weilchen gedauert, aber wir konnten tatsächlich und wir haben’s getan!
some eagle eyes with virtual acuity already spotted something on a poster at the FARBENMIX booth…. and the passionate sewing ornothologists among you have been asking over and over again if we could reprint the LOVECHIRP fabric from way back then again. it took a while but we could and we did!

dass der winter vorbei ist, merkt man ja spätestens an den zugvögeln, die in scharen nach hause zurückkehren, um bei uns den sommer zu verbringen. so kommt das pimpinellische vögelchen dieses mal in kleinen schwärmen ganz ornamental auf popeline angeflattert. völlig jahreszeitenunabhängig lässt es sich mit fast
allen bunten und bunteren farben kombinieren und so kleingemustert zu unzähligen großen und auch ganz kleinen projekten (wie z.b. diesem kürbis nadelkissen nach dem tutorial von WAS EIGENES) vernähen, ihr werdet sehen…  
you know that winter has gone when the migrant birds come home again in droves for summer. so the pimpinellish birdies come in a ornamental swarm, flying on popeline cotton fabric. it can be combined indepentent from any kind of season with almost any color matching… the small regular pattern can be sewn up in bigger and smaller projects (like this little pumpkin pin-cushion according to the tutorial of WAS EIGENES), you’ll see…

 … passend zum stöffchen kommen das CHIRPY HEARTS webband in 12 mm breite…

… along with the fabric comes the CHIRPY HEARTS ribbon in 12 mm width…

mein ganz besonderer dank geht an dieser stelle erneut an die liebe jeanette von HUUPS, die mich wieder einmal beim “bauen” des musters und beim schrauben am rapport mit ihrem know-how unterstützt hat! deshalb ist auch dieses stöffchen wieder ein gemeinsames baby. danke, jeanette… ♥
der CHIRP ORNAMENTS popeline von FARBENMIX geht am donnerstag, dem 22. märz online und ist dann (noch nicht vorher ;) für HÄNDLER direkt über SWAFING zu beziehen… für alle endverbraucher wird er dann hoffentlich so schnell wie möglich über den stoffhändler ihres vertrauens zu beziehen sein. die webbänder bekommt ihr auch ab donnerstag wie gewohnt bei mir im LÄDCHEN und natürlich direkt bei FARBENMIX im shop. 
ich wünsche euch ganz viel freude beim vernähen der kleinen piepser!

the FARBENMIX fabric CHIRP ORNAMENTS will be available for RETAILERS online as of thursday 22nd of march (no, not earlier;) via SWAFING. all retail customers will hopefully find it at the shop of their favorite fabric dealer shortly after. the ribbons will be available at my little SHOP of course as well as at the FARBENMIX shop directly for wholesale.

il faut prendre le métro

den FRÜHLING in PARIS werden wir in diesem jahr leider nicht erleben… aber wenn es irgendwann wieder soweit ist, dann wird mich dieses METROtäschchen wohl begleiten.
we’re not going to see PARIS in SPRINGTIME this year… but when we will again, i’ll take this little METRO pouch with me.

vielleicht aber reist so ein täschchen auch viel eher nach paris als ich!? ich habe nämlich ein paar mehr angefertigt und die warten nun auf ihre ganz persönliche abreise in meinem kleinen LADEN. bon voyage! ;)
