talking about SUMMER BEST OFs … what about some real cool PHOTO-APPs for the ultimate sommer-look of your SMARTPHONE PICTURES? today i’d like to share my currently favorite apps for iPHONE & co with you. maybe you like one of these for your vacation snapshots, too!?

POMELO… schon allein der name ich sommer pur, nicht wahr? sie ist die neuste unter den foto apps auf meinem phone und es gibt sie als gratis download für iOS {weitere in-app
käufe gibt’s bisher nicht}. eine version für android gibt es von davon
bisher leider nicht. wieder mal. POMELO bietet über 70 stylische foto-filter in 5
kategorien… film, pola, lomo, vintage
und B&W. weitere packages kann man in der app für umme downloaden und noch mehr filter sind angekündigt. die stärke der filter
kann jeweils ganz easy angepasst werden. die app ist schön übersichtlich
und optisch schick gestaltet. natürlich fehlen auch die üblichen
bildbearbeitungs-tools nicht: zuschneiden, rotieren, vignette,
tilt-shift, etc… alles da! außerdem könnt ihr mit der POMELO app {download-link} eure
fotos gleich mit live-filtern knipsen und direkt auf facebock,
twitter und instagram teilen. unter dem hashtag #pomelocamera könnt ihr
in den fotos von anderen INSTAGRAM nutzern stöbern. hier seht ihr aber erst einmal ein paar bearbeitungsbeispiele von moi! die filter-kategorien FILM & LOMO liebe ich am meisten, wegen der oft sehr knackigen farben! schon klar! aber auch der verblasste 70er-FOTO-LOOK hat es mir angetan. dies sind allerdings nur ein paar der unzähligen möglichkeiten… welches editing gefällt euch am besten?

POMELO… already sounds like summer, huh? this is the newest among the photo apps on my phone and it’s for free {no in-app buys involved so far}. unfortunately there’s is version for android yet. very sad. POMELO provides over 70 stylish photo filters sorted in 5categories … film, pola, lomo, vintage
und  B&W. more packages can be downloaded in-app for free and even more filters are announced. you can easily adjust the strength of the filters. the app itself is clearly arranged and has a lovely design. of course basic editing tool like crop, rotate, vignette, tilt-shift ect. aren’t missing. moreover the POMELO app {download-link} provides live filters with the camera. instant sharing on facebock,
twitter and instagram included. check out the hashtag #pomelocamera to browse through samples of other INSTAGRAM users if o like. above you can see editings from moi! i especially love the filter categories FILM & LOMO mostly because of it’s vivid colors. but i also love the faded 70s-PHOTO-LOOK. just a few of the countless possibilities… which  editing do you like the most?

VINTIQUE… wie der name schon ahnen lässt, kommen hier alle fans von VINTAGE FOTOGRAFIE auf ihre kosten. verblasste farben, farbschleier und light leaks prägen vor allem den look der fotos, die mit den tools bearbeitet wurden. die VINTIQUE app {download link} ist leider nicht gratis, sondern kostet 89 ct. und hat auch noch diverse in-app käufe in petto. hier kommen schon mal ein paar euro zusammen, wenn man sich alle editing-möglichkeiten zulegen möchte. dann stehen einem allerdings {neben des basics wie helligkeit, sättigung, farbtemperatur, kontrast, usw.} über 140 filter zur verfügung. zusätzliche vignetten und texturen ermöglichen außerdem noch mehr retro foto-looks. text kann in die fotos integriert werden. ich persönlich finde die schriftarten-auswahl aber eher mau. das können andere apps besser. ob man die frame plus packs {also die rahmen-funktionen} wirklich braucht, lasse ich auch mal dahingestellt. ich selbst bin kein fan von rahmen, aber über geschmack lässt sich ja bekanntlich nicht streiten. direktes teilen auf facebook, twitter und instagram, ist, wie bei fast allen foto-apps, natürlich möglich. ich habe eine namensgleiche APP für android entdeckt {download-link}, glaube aber nicht, dass es sich um das identische produkt handelt. mit VINTIQUE für iOS habe ich hier ein bisschen herumgespielt und ein fahrrad, dass ich auf MARTHA’S VINEYARD aufgenommen habe, stilvoll altern lassen… welcher style wäre euer liebling?

VINTIQUE… the name says it all. this one is for all fans of VINTAGE PHOTOGRAPHY. faded colors, antique textures and light leaks gives the distictive vintage look of pics edited with the VINTIQUE app
{download link}. unfortunately it is not for free and also in-app buys are involved. but if you get yourself the whole package there are many, many editing possibilities at your hands. besides the basic tools like brightness, saturation contrast, temperature and so on} it provides over 140 filters and additional vignettes and textures for maximum retro editing fun. messages can be added to the pictures, but i personally think the variety of fonts is a little poor. there are also plus packs of frames, which i personally don’t need, as i don’t like frames that much. but anyhow. VINTIQUE provides instant sharing on facebook, twitter and instagram of course. i spotted an APP with the same name for android
{download-link}, i don’t think though that it’s the same product. i used VINTIQUE for iOS to play around with a shot of a pretty bike i took at MARTHA’S VINEYARD last summer and let it age classily… which style is your favorite here?

ROOKIE… muss man eigentlich lieben! schon allein wegen der auswahl an grandiosen STICKERS & OBERLAYS, die die app mitbringt. wer vielleicht schon die RHONNA DESIGNS foto-app kennt, die ich hier letzten sommer im blog vorgestellt habe, wird sicherlich auch ROOKIE mögen. hier bleibt der fokus trotz der tollen grafik-overlays erst einmal auf der bildbearbeitung mit FOTO-FILTERN. der sologan “HALTEN SIE IHRE GEFÜHLE FEST” trifft es bei der filter-auswahl  ganz wunderbar… wer einfach mal einen live-blick werfen möchte, was die ROOKIE app {download link – basis app ist gratis, aber es sind in-app käufe vorgesehen!} so bereit hält, kann das hier in diesem VIDEO. sehr schön! apropos live… auch hier funktioniert die kamera mit live-filtern. es stehen über 100 und tolle foto-filter, über 100 schriftarten und mehr als 260 badges und sticker zur verfügung. der kreativität sind kaum grenzen gesetzt! professionelle bildbearbeitungstools machen das ganze rund. kontrast, helligkeit, sättigung, lichter & tiefen, farbtemperatur, doppelbelichtung, klarheit & schärfe und noch vieles mehr, hier bleibt eigentlich kein wunsch offen. für mich eine echte 1+ für diese app! {für ANDROID habe ich auch eine namensgleiche app entdeckt… bin aber auch HIER nicht überzegt, dass es sich da wirklich im das selbe produkt hanelt}. und natürlich habe auch damit ein paar editings für euch: das fräulein auf dem weg zum stand in unserem letzten sommerurlaub in NEUENGLAND. in dieser palette kann ich mich selbst kaum entscheiden, welches editing mir am besten gefällt… was ist eurer favorit?

ROOKIE… you gotta love it! i love the selection of STICKERS & BADGES of die app. maybe you already know the RHONNA DESIGNS photo-app that i shared here on the blog last year. if you love that one, you will surely have a crush on ROOKIE, too!  it keeps the focus on the PHOTO FILTERS a little bit more, which i like. the sologan “CAPTURE YOUR SENTIMENTS” says a lot about the variety of filters. there are very moody and stylish looks involved… if you like to have a closer look on the ROOKIE app {download link – basic app for free, but  in-ap buys involved!} live, please check out this VIDEO! apropos live… ROOKIE also provides
live-filters for the cam. in the editing mode there are more than 100 filters, over 100 fonts and more than 260 badges and sticker to choose from. creativity has no limit! professional photo editing tools make the whole thing complete. contrast, brightness, saturation, lights & shadows, color temperature, double exposure, clarity & sharpness and many more options are included. a real A+ from me for this app! {i found an ANDROID app with the same name HERE, but again, i’m don’t think it’s really the same product}.and of course i did a few editings to show you some examples: the fräulein on her way to the beach, shot on our last summer vacation in NEW ENGLAND. in this palette i can hardly decide for a favorite… what di you think??
