what a pity the the dutch people have as much RAIN as we do have here… i wished for some more sunshine, but one day of our trip was a true rainy day.

what to do then? let’s go visiting some TROPICAL REGION! ;)

… wo sogar noch ein SONNEN-FESTIVAL für die kinder stattfand, wie wunderbar!

… even a SUN FESTIVAL took place… how awesome! 

…in einem workshop, inmitten der großen halle dieses imposanten gebäudes, konnten die kinder medallions und sonnenkronen basteln, und damit auf einem großen, goldenen thron für einen moment INKAkönig/in sein… es gab bitterliche tränen, als luzie die krone später ins klo fiel… ^^

…they offered a crafting workshop in the middle of the grand hall of this impressive builging. the kids created crwons and medallions and loved to sit down on the big throne pretending to be an INKA queen or king and to be photographed. you can imagine the bitter tears, when luzie’s crown fell into the toilet later…. ^^

…für uns drei war der besuch des TROPENMUSEUMS enorm spannend, erkannten wir doch viele exponate wieder, die wir schon auf unseren reisen mit luzie gesehen hatten…

.. we three were all enthusiastic about the TROPENMUSEUM, we discovered a lot of things we already knew from our asia travels which was so sxciting…

… bei dieser figur des GANESHA erinnerte sie sich gleich an den HINDUTEMPEL in den batu höhlen in KUALA LUMPUR… “und mama weißt du noch, wie viele stufen ich dort geschafft habe?”

… lookind at GANESHA luzie rememberes the HINDU TEMLE at the batu caves of KUALA LUMPUR… “mommy, do you remember me taking that hundreds of stairs without moaning?”
